FAITH Emergency Services at (513) 970-6737

FAITH Emergency Services was begun in 1985 by several local churches to serve as a pantry for needy families in Mason and Deerfield Township. It was incorporated as Mason Food Pantry, Inc.

In 1999 FAITH received approval to become a United Way Agency and changed its name to FAITH Emergency Services. At that time FAITH began providing financial assistance for famlies who are about to be evicted as well as help with utility bills to avoid disconnects. And it continued to help families buy food.

In 2006 FAITH added an additional program of helping needy students who do not have enough clothes or personal care products. This program has grown year over year, starting with the helping of 12 students in 2006 until 2014 where it is estimated FAITH will provide clothing to 60 students.

In the last half of 2017 FAITH extended services to include South Lebanon, Ohio.

During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021 FAITH operated exclusively by phone using limited staff, but maintained the same services except for limited support of school clothing .  Beginnig  in February 2022 FAITH and Warren County Community Services (WCCS) reached an agreement whereby WCCS would use the funds available from FAITH to provide the same services previously provided by FAITH.  This change will result in a much more efficent delivery and more comprehensive services because of the overlap of the servics offered by FAITH and WCCS and the many additional services offered by WCCS.

FAITH now delivers (through WCCS) relief for individuals and families in Mason, Deerfield Township, South Lebanon, and Shadow Lake Ohio. FAITH is funded by generous individuals in the community as well as the following organizations:

The policies of FAITH Emergency Services and guidelines for clients to get assistance from FAITH are determined by the Board of FAITH Emergency Services.  Beginning in 2022 oerational control and disbursement of assistance to aid to clients shifted to Warren County Community Services,
